Andrew Herley breaks away from Max Revers, Omaha Concordia, in the semifinal match of the 132-pound class. Herley won, by fall, in 3:42, to advance to the final match.

Five Warrior wrestlers earned medals at the Weeping Water Invite.

The Warriors finished third in team standings, accumulating 133.5 points.

Host team Weeping Water took the championship, scoring 168 points, while Winside finished second, with 135 points.

Archbishop Bergan, Millard South, East butler, Johnson County Central, Southwest, Omaha Concordia and Lincoln Christian rounded out the top 10 teams

Andrew Herley claimed the top spot in the 132-pound class.

Herley was perfect on the day, earning four wins by fall.

In round one, he won in 1:03 over Owen Pruss, Archbishop Bergan.  Next, Herley downed Cody Heise, East Butler, in 1:13.

Herley pinned Max Revers, Omaha Concordia, in 3:42, in the semifinal and downed Southwest’s Colton Hauschild, in 5:04, in the championship match.

Cameron Wilkinson earned silver in the 113-pound division. In the first championship round, he won, by fall, in 1:24, over Jonah Reed, Freeman.

In the quarterfinal, Wilkinson picked up a pin, in 1:03, over Pender’s Chase Hofmeister and in the semifinal, he won an 11-0 major decision over Cayden Ellis, Winside.

Caden Arps, AB, earned an 8-4 decision over Wilkinson in the first place match.

Brock Kester wrestled for first place in the 120-pound class and brought home the silver medal.

After a first-round bye, Kester won, by fall, in 4:51, over Maddox Magwire, Winside. He earned a 5-0 decision over Zane Albertson, Millard South, in the semifinal.

In the first place match, Koby Ellis, Winside, won, by fall, in 1:16.

Wrestling in the 170-pound class, Kaleb Pofahl won silver.

Pofahl won, by fall, in 0:52, over Aaron Sanchez, Omaha Concordia in the first round and picked up a pin, in 0:24, over John Haase, Lincoln Christian, in the quarterfinal.

In the semifinal, Pofahl won, by fall, in 3:41, over Will Leavitt, MS.

Colten Ratkovec, EB, defeated Pofahl in the first place match, with a win, by fall, in 2:13.

Dawson Kaup finished third in the 195-pound division. He started competition with a bye and earned a quarterfinal win pinning Quinten Neumeister, Weeping Water, in 0:27.

Michael Jensen, Winside, won, by fall, in 5:26 in the semifinal, but Kaup rebounded with a win, by fall, in 1:27, over Palmyra’s Michael Bryan-Aldrich.

In the third place match, Kaup won a 6-4 decision over Cade Sortino, MS.

Colton Klabenes placed sixth in the 220-pound division. Josh Bailey, Johnson County Central, won, by fall, in 2:14, in round one and Connor Hoy, MS, won by forfeit in round two.

Trenton Baier, WW, won by forfeit in round three; Peyton Cone, AB, by forfeit, in round four and Joseph Risko, Omaha Concordia, by forfeit in round five.

Cody Booth competed in the 106-pound class and picked up two wins.

Following a round one bye, Isaac Wagrzyn, Lincoln Christian, won, by fall, in 5:48.

Booth own a 17-5 major decision over Tyler Allen, AB, in the second consolation round and claimed a win by technical fall, 3:06, over Jayson Patchin, Omaha Concordia, in the third consolation round.

In the consolation semifinal, Brayden Brecka, EB, won, by fall, in 2:15.

Isaias Juarez competed in the 126-pound class, opening with a loss, by fall, in 0:43, to Nolan Blevins, WW. In the second consolation round, Kyle Heise, EB, won, by fall, in 1:36.

Caleb Payne started competition in the 138-pound class with a bye and lost in the quarterfinal, by fall, in 0:26, to Art Escalante, Winside.

A second consolation bye pitted Payne against Trevin Brecka, EB, in round three. Brecka earned a 3-2 decision.

Cade Wilkinson earned a first round won over Shane Quandt, MS, by fall, in 1:51. That set up a quarterfinal match against Levi Dorsey, JCC. Dorsey won, by fall, in 5:07.

In the second consolation round, Wilkinson won, by fall, in 4:39, over Zachery Randell, Pender and claimed a win, by fall, in 2:26, over Dedrick Dowding, Palmyra.

In the consolation semifinal, Breckin Ratkovec, EB, won, by fall, in 2:44.

Jose Luna earned six team points in the 152-pound class.

In the first round, William Ludacka, Omaha Concordia, won an 11-7 decision.

Luna earned consolation round wins over Andrew Fellers, AB, by fall, in 4:03 and Jacob Byers, Lincoln Christian, by fall, in 3:45.

In the third consolation round Raphael Kirchmayr, WW, won by major decision, 20-8.

Conor Dempsey opened competition in the 160-pound class with a 9-1 major decision loss to Jack Torosian, Omaha Concordia.

In the second consolation round, Dempsey defeated Josh Jessen, Yutan, by a 12-5 decision and won, by fall, in 1:54, over Tyler Woolridge, Lincoln Christian.

In the consolation semifinal, Shayden Jones, WW, won, by fall, in 2:16.
