Conor Dempsey runs past O-C's Bellar

Conor Dempsey breaks free from Tyler Bellar to help the Warriors take down the Cyclones on Friday night.

Neligh-Oakdale and Clearwater-Orchard met up in an all-Antelope County matchup on Friday night in Neligh.

It was a defensive battle all the way through the first half. Each team held the opposing offense to zero points.

In the second half, both teams offenses broke through with some power. Neligh-Oakdale’s Julien Hearn had a tipped ball land right in his hands for a touchdown, and Cyclone senior Houston Marino had some great runs to keep his team in the game.

Neligh-Oakdale ended up topping the Cyclones with a final score of 36-22.
